26th of April 2012, Expo Arad International, Arad

Solar maps show that there is hardly any region in Romania that would not fit to environmental friendly energy production. The extensive RES potential of the country is due to its marine climate and southern location in Europe.

Solar energy is more and more supported by the state. In order to support the development of renewable energy market in Romania REECO - International trade fair and conference organiser for renewable energy and energy efficiency –  organized the 2nd international workshop called: Solar Energy Experience in Romania, at Expo Arad International.

The workshop was a full day event who aimed to provide in-depth information on the lastest market developments, policies, laws and financing posibilities in presentation by high-profile speakers. Also offered an exciting platform to discuss with leading market players in the solar energy market and industry on European level. Of particular interest was the topic of planning, connecting to the grid and maintenance and addressing the issue of innovations and research results.

The participants of the workshop had the opportunity to discuss with key players from all areas of solar energy production, distribution and utilisation and also industry representatives and policy-makers.
